How the firm approaches each matter
Every matter begins with reading. Before a view is formed, the firm reviews the available documents — pension deeds, statements, correspondence, and any formal decisions — to understand the legal position as it actually stands.
From that reading, the firm forms a measured view and communicates it plainly. Where further action is warranted, the firm proceeds with care. Where it is not, the client is told so and the reasons explained.
Listen and read
The client's account is heard and the documents reviewed without interruption or pressure.
Consider and assess
A measured view of the legal position is formed and any gaps in evidence are identified.
Advise plainly
The assessment is communicated clearly, in writing, so the client may reflect at home.
Act where instructed
If the client wishes to proceed, the firm acts carefully and keeps the client informed throughout.
Pension Position Sitting
