2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Engagement of the firm's services is subject to a separate written engagement letter. These website terms do not constitute a legal services agreement.
The firm's services are available only to individuals aged eighteen years and above who are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
3. Website Use
This website is provided for informational purposes. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice. Information about the firm's services describes the general nature of those services and should not be relied upon as advice in relation to any specific matter.
The firm makes reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and current, but does not warrant that it is complete, accurate, or up to date at any given time.
4. Services
Pension Position Sitting
A single consultation at which the firm reviews the client's situation and provides a measured initial view. A written note is provided after the sitting. This service does not create an ongoing retainer or obligation for further engagement.
Steady Defence of Pension Entitlements
A representation service for clients disputing a reduction or withholding of a pension entitlement. The scope of the service, including the extent of correspondence and any formal process, will be agreed in a written engagement letter. The fee of SGD 460 covers the scope as defined in that letter.
Coordinated Retirement Documentation
A two-sitting service for the coordinated preparation and review of retirement documentation including a will, lasting power of attorney, and CPF and pension beneficiary nominations. The scope and deliverables will be confirmed in writing before the first sitting. The fee of SGD 320 covers the stated scope.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees are as stated on this website and confirmed in writing before any service begins. All fees are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Payment is due as specified in the engagement letter. Where additional work becomes necessary beyond the agreed scope, this will be discussed with the client before any additional cost is incurred.

8. Disclaimers
The firm's services are provided on the basis of the information and documents made available by the client. The firm cannot accept responsibility for outcomes arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
Legal outcomes are inherently uncertain. The firm provides its best assessment of the likely position based on the available evidence but does not warrant any particular result.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by the firm's negligence.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Singapore law, the firm's total liability to any client in connection with any matter shall not exceed the total fees paid by that client for the relevant service.
The firm shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of opportunity or loss of expected savings, arising from its services or the information on this website.
10. Termination
Either party may end an engagement by written notice. The firm may decline to continue an engagement where ethical or professional obligations require it to do so. Fees for work completed to the point of termination will remain payable. Upon termination, the firm will promptly return client documents.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the law of Singapore. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms or the firm's services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Before commencing formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. A party wishing to raise a dispute should write to [email protected] setting out the nature of the dispute. The firm will respond within ten working days with a view to resolution.
12. General
- Entire agreement: These terms, together with any engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the matters covered.
- Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it subsequently.
- Assignment: The firm may assign the benefit of an engagement to a successor practice. Clients may not assign their rights under an engagement without the firm's consent.

These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes take effect from the date shown at the top of this page.
